Gymea Lily（ドリアンテス・エクセルサ）

Autumn rain is continuing in Sydney.
 According to the weather bureau, El Nino signs appearing now.  　
今秋は雨天続きのシドニー。

気象局によるとエルニーニョ現象の兆候が見れるそうです。

She always stops at the same spot and sniffs this flower.
そして、ここに来るといつも立ち止まって

匂いを嗅ぐ花があります。

The flower name is Gymea lily.

They are native only on the east coast of Australia.

その花の名前はGymea lily　日本名ドリアンテス・エクセルサ

オーストラリアの東海岸側にしか自生しない珍しい花です。

The flower bud color is deep red and texture is glossy smooth. 
ツボミは真っ赤で、その質感はツルツル光沢感があります。

This one is already 2m tall and eventually they grow
5 - 6m tall towards to spring.  When spring comes,
the red flower blooms at the top end.
この時点で既に高さは2mぐらいありますが、
春にかけて５〜６mの高さまで細長く成長し、

その先端には大きな赤色の花を咲かせます。

Hina : “Oh, here is another one!” 
ひな：『あっ、ここにもあった！』

Even though winter has not yet started, Hina can't
wait to welcome the next spring season.
まだ冬は始まってませんが、既に春を待ちわびるひなでした。
